Mission:

Adult and Community Education of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts (ACE MV) provides educational opportunities for enrichment, practical training, college credit, and life-long learning that bridge generations and cultures to improve the quality of life for all members of our community. We work in partnership with the MV Public Schools and over 30 community organizations and many individuals dedicated to these same goals.

Major Programs:

ACE MV offers a variety of courses for enrichment and training during 3 sessions (fall, winter, spring) in a range of topics within these fields of interest:

  • Arts and Communication,
  • Business and Computer Technology,
  • Cooking and Wine Appreciation,
  • Health and Fitness,
  • History and Community,
  • International Travel/ Social Service/ Cultural Exchanges,
  • Island Living/ Land & Sea,
  • Languages,
  • Professional Development: Graduate and Undergraduate credit courses,
  • Social Justice
  • Volunteerism, and
  • Writing.

In the winter and spring sessions we will offer GED and Basic Vocational skills for the community

At this point ACE MV runs through the MVYPS. We are now a corporation and are seeking non-profit status. We are run in partnership with MVYPS and an Advisory Board made up of several representatives of organizations and dedicated individuals including:
