Lagoon Pond Association, Inc. (LPA)

The LPA preserves the character of Lagoon Pond an all immediate adjacent areas: to protect and enhance the area's natural beauty; to preserve the resources of the Lagoon and adjacent waters; to cooperate with all other civic and conservation groups concerned with pollution of MV waters and atmosphere; and to cooperate with governmental bodies and agencies to solve civic and environmental problems as they affect the Lagoon Pond area.

The mission of the Polly Hill Arboretum is to perpetuate the experimental tradition in horticulture established by Polly Hill by sharing knowledge of plants and scientific procedure through educational programs, research, plant conservation, and exploration.
