Now Martha's Vineyard has a grant resource center
just like Associated Grant Makers' in Boston!
Thanks to the collaboration of The Oak Bluffs Public Library, the Martha’s Vineyard Donor Collaborative and a grant from the Peter and Elizabeth Tower C. Foundation, non-profits no longer have to travel into Boston to gain free access to Foundation Center and AGM funder databases and expertise in grant research.

Learn why Vineyard non-profits need more help
The Martha’s Vineyard Donor’s Collaborative works to sustain the Vineyard by expanding philanthropy and strengthening island nonprofit organizations. We are an advocacy organization founded on the premise that the local community is critical to maintaining the character of the island and that island nonprofits are critical to sustaining the local community and many of the things we all love about the Vineyard.
We do this by:
- Educating donors about the needs of the island and the philanthropic opportunities nonprofits offer,
- Advocating for the nonprofit community and their vital contributions to the MV community,
- Providing workshops and technical support to the nonprofits.
The Martha’s Vineyard Donors Collaborative is self funded, does not solicit funds for itself, does not choose among organizations to support and does not provide access to donors without their permission.
