Locally Grown Food
Island Grown Initiative (IGI)
Founded 2006
IGI is dedicated to building community on Martha's
Vineyard. We support small family farming and raise consumer awareness about
the importance of locally grown food. Developing both the viability and the
necessity of the farmer and farming, is inextricably linked to the
preservation and conservation of the island's working farmlands.
