  • FUNDRAISING IS SELLING - HOW TO CRAFT YOUR STORY & ASK FOR MONEY

  • Fundraising is selling.  Most of us involved in nonprofit organizations don’t think of fundraising in this manner.  However, the tactics, outreach and general communication skills are the same.   In order to get comfortable with the “ask” for money, you have to first understand:

  • how to prepare for the conversation
  • what language to use
  • how to approach your potential donors.
Or, perhaps you want to get other people involved in the organization and aren’t quite ready to ask them to donate their time or their money.  What do you say, how do you incorporate a story that is going to get your potential donor to lean forward and want to hear more, and to invest themselves?

Join us for a one hour webinar in which we tackle the above challenges.  You’ll walk away with tangible tools and language to use immediately.

Our Presenter: Lindsay Wolff: Lindsay’s career was spent at Yahoo and WebMD in advertising sales.  Through mentoring at her previous companies, Lindsay found that not only was she excellent at providing ideas and coaching for other sales people, but she also loves doing it!  During the 8 years Lindsay has lived on Martha’s Vineyard, she has helped to plan & execute workshops dedicated to improving a nonprofits focus around fundraising, nurturing relationships and storytelling – all of which are directly related to selling
